Sparks Group is Hiring a Remote Accounts Receivable Analyst
Sparks Group has partnered with a mission-driven, research focused government contracting organization in search of an Accounts Receivable Analyst. The Accounts Receivable Analyst will be responsible for the accounts receivable process to include billing, closeouts, collections, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of billing experience in a government contracting environment and proficiency in CostPoint. If you are looking for your next opportunity, apply now!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, validate, and submit invoices and status reports
- Manage Accounts Receivable issues and ensure timely payments
- Run functional meetings and collaborate on process improvements
- Interface with clients to resolve receivables disputes tactfully
- Analyze receivables data, make informed decisions, and facilitate cross-functional collaboration
- 3- 5 years of billing experience in a government contracting environment
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with CostPoint 7 or newer
- Proficient with Excel
- Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred though additional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- Preferred experience with order-to-cash processes in a government contracting environment
- Experience with Oracle and SharePoint preferred
